Nice to meet you!My name is Vannessa (she/her) and I’m from Brooklyn, New York. I’m a senior at Cornell with a B.A. in Information Science, for UX and digital culture production. I’m minoring in English for Creative Writing and Game Design.
Creativity and design isn’t possible without the team it’s fostered in and the community it’s for, so it’s of highest value of me to find mentorship in my work.
Current Fascinations: baking pizza & pastries, making shotlists for vlogs, and studying fictional worldbuilding for film & games.
Why do you do all that you do?

Before university, I wasn’t aware of what design was-and being able to weld creativity with practicality is exciting. I hope to spark change locally through education, technology and impact.

Growing up with beloved Beth MacDonald’s “Mrs. Piggle Wiggle,” Barbara Park’s “Junie B. Jones” Jim Benton’s “Dear Dumb Diary," inspired I wrote lots about the boy I liked in school. Now, I write more fascinating things on Medium.
One day, I hope to be able to inspire and entertain the next generation of children and create a space where they can read, write and imagine too. -
